The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G, is a budget-friendly gaming-focused smartphone and the successor to last year’s Pova 5 Pro 5G. It runs on a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 5G octa-core processor and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. With regards to memory specifications, the phone comes with 8GB to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB to 256GB UFS 2.2 flash storage. You can have an additional up to 12GB RAM with the RAM Expansion feature.
It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a 1300 nits peak brightness, a responsive 1500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, FHD+ (1080 x 2436) resolution, approximately 393 ppi pixel density, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The design adopts a punch-hole style display located at the center top of the screen.
In terms of mobile photography, it has a 32-megapixels wide selfie lens, a triple dual camera setup with a 108-megapixels main shooter, 2MP and an AI lens. The front camera is capable of recording video at up to 1080p resolution, while the rear camera can capture video at up to 2K resolution.
It is powered by a 6000mAh battery that supports 70 watts fast charging. The POVA 6 Pro 5G also features LED ambient light (back), Game Assistant 4.0, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, dual stereo speakers (Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res wired and wireless audio), SuperCooled System 1.0 Cooling system, Bypass charging mode, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs on the latest Android 14-based HiOS 14 out of the box.
