The Redmi 9T described as “Power Up!”, is one of the budget smartphones that runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor with a maximum clocked rate of 2.0GHz and an Adreno 610 mobile GPU. The phone has 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It is also expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
The phone display is a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz standard refresh rate, FHD+ (1080 x 2340) resolution, ~395 ppi pixel density, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The front design is a water-drop notch (Dot Drop) and protecting the screen is a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
For optics, it has 8-megapixels on the front, a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixels (Samsung S5KGM1 sensor) main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. Both sides can record up to 1080p@30fps full-HD video resolution.
The phone packs a huge 6000mAh non-removable battery with an 18W fast charging rate. In addition, the phone also features an IR blaster, OTG support, NFC (market dependent), dual speakers, Face unlock, FM Radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.
