The Redmi Note 8 Pro was introduced by Xiaomi as a “Pioneer of 64MP Quad Camera”, a budget gaming-centric smartphone that runs on a MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor along with Mali-G76 MC4 mobile GPU. The phone has 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 64GB, 128GB up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The built-in storage is expandable by up to 256GB to give more room for your files.
It has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate, HDR support, FHD+ (1080 x 2340) resolution, 500 nits brightness, ~395-pixel density, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The front design is a water-drop (Dot Drop) display and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch protection.
Talking about the camera, the phone sports a 20-megapixels selfie lens, a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixels (Samsung S5KGW1 sensor) main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. For the videography, the front can record up to 1080p@30fps video resolution while the rear side is capable of up to 4K resolution and gyro-EIS support.
The phone has 4500mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging. In addition, the phone features IR Blaster, Game Turbo 2.0, FM Radio, VoLTE, NFC, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for the software side, the phone is running on the Android 9-based MUI 10 mobile OS.
