Redmi Note 12S specs and features
The Redmi Note 12S is a 4G-only mid-range smartphone that has similar specs to Redmi Note 11S. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core CPU and an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. In terms of memory, the phone has 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM variations and 128GB to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable by up to 1TB via a dedicated card slot.
It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ (2400 x 1800) resolution, ~409 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is a punch-hole style located at the center.
For optics, it has 16-megapixels wide selfie lens, a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixels main shooter (Samsung S5KHM2 sensor), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro. It can record up to 1080p@30fps video resolution on both sides.
Powering the device is a large 5000mAh battery with a 33W fast charging rate. The Redmi Note 12S also features dual stereo speakers, AI face unlock, multifunctional NFC, an infrared port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
