The new POCO F6 is the latest smartphone under the F-series lineup that is now set to unveil this coming May 24, 2024. It is on a close to flagship chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 octa-core chipset and paired with an Adreno 735 for graphics processing. The phone offers more RAM for multitasking with the 8GB to 12GB of LPDDR5X variant and coupled with large UFS 4.0 storage starting at 256GB to 512GB ROM.
The device has a power-efficient 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dobly Vision and HDR10+ support. The 1.5K CrystalRes resolution (1220 x 2712) provide clear and vibrant viewing. It has a ~446 pixels per-inch (ppi) making it a vibrant display with a screen ratio of 20:9. They added protection coating to the glass with one of the latest Corning, the Gorilla Glass Victus.
In terms of camera, it has a 20-megapixel selfie lens on the front. At the back, is a 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-600 sensor) main shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) plus PDAF and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It can clear videos up to 4K resolution.
The F6 provides improvements from its predecessor the 5000mAh that supports 90W TurboCharge fast charging via a USB-C port. Some of the interesting features of the POCO F6 includes LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with IceLoop Cooling system, an IP64 rating, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 14 with HyperOS UI out of the box.
