Redmi Note 9 Pro dubbed as a “64MP Quad Camera Pro”, is a budget smartphone that runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor together with Adreno 618 GPU. The phone has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB to 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB capacity via a dedicated microSD card slot.
For the display, it has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel, FHD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution, 84% (typ) NTSC, ~395-pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front design is a punch-hole (DotDisplay) located at the center top of the screen and a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
For the camera, the phone sports a 16-megapixels selfie lens, a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixels (Samsung S5KGW1 sensor) main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. For the video recording, the rear can record up to 4K@30fps video resolution and 1080p@30fps on the front.
The phone packs a 5020mAh non-removable battery with 30W fast charging. In addition, the phone features IR Blaster, FM Radio, NFC, and a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. For the software, the phone is running on the Android 10-based MUI 11 mobile OS.
