The Redmi 12C is the latest all-rounder entry-level smartphone from Xiaomi that runs on a Mediatek Helio G85 octa-core chipset with up to 2.0GHz CPU and a Mali-G52 MC2 mobile GPU. In terms of memory, it has 3GB, 4GB to 6GBGB LPDDR4X RAM along with 32GB, 64GB to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It is also expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
It brings a large 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, an HD+ (720 x 1650) resolution, ~268 ppi pixel density, and a 20.6:9 aspect ratio. For the design, it has a water-drop notch or Dot Drop display, and a 500 nits typical brightness.
On the front camera, it has a 5-megapixel selfie lens, a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels main shooter, and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. Both cameras can capture a full HD video with a 1080p@30fps resolution.
For power, it comes with a 5000mAh non-removable battery with 10W charging. Other feature of the Redmi 12C includes FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, Memory extension, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, face unlock, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs the Android 12-based MIU13 out of the box.
