The latest iPhone 15 Plus smartphone offers a slightly bigger display than the iPhone 15 model. It runs on the same Apple A16 Bionic 4nm hexa-core processor and a 5-core mobile GPU (graphics processing unit). For memory specs, the phone also comes with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM along options from 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB NVMe storage variations.
As mentioned, it boasts a bigger 6.7-inch WUXGA+ (1290 x 2796) Super Retina XDR OLED panel with identical features to the base model, like 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Dolby Vision support, 2000 (peak)brightness, resolution, ~460 ppi pixel density, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also adopts the Dynamic island notch design located on the top of the screen.
In terms of photography, it has a 12-megapixel TrueDepth selfie lens with Retina Flash and next-generation portraits. At the back, is a dual camera system with a 48-megapixel main shooter with sensor-shift OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with ƒ/2.4 aperture and 120° FOV (field of view). It can record videos of up to 4K at 60fps on both front and back and also supports Dolby Vision HDR and 4K Cinematic mode.
The iPhone 15 Plus has a built-in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery with 20W fast charging and wireless charging support (MagSafe and Qi). This model also supports USB-C Type-C 2.0 charging, which is part of the alterations they made on this year’s iPhone. The phone also features Ceramic shield glass at the back, IP68 rating (max depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes), Ultra Wideband chip, Bluetooth 5.3, Dolby Atmos, Spatial audio, VoLTE), dual stereo speakers, and Face ID security features.
