The latest iPhone 15 smartphone from Apple is now officially available and priced in the Philippines. It runs on an Apple A16 Bionic 4-nanometer Hexa-core chipset and a 5-core graphics processing unit. In terms of internal specifications, the phone comes with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM paired with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB NVMe flash storage.
It has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel with still 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Dolby Vision, 2000 peak brightness, FHD+ (1179 x 2556) resolution, ~460 ppi pixel density, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The front design includes a dynamic island notch on the top of the screen.
When it comes to camera features, this device boasts a 12-megapixel TrueDepth lens with Retina Flash. At the back is a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary shooter (an upgrade from the iPhone 14‘s 12MP) featuring sensor-shift OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view. In terms of videography, the rear camera can record videos in resolutions of up to 4K at 60fps and also supports Dolby Vision HDR at up to 30fps, along with a 4K Cinematic mode.
Talking about the battery capacity and features, the iPhone 15 has 20W fast charging and 15-watt wireless charging (MagSafe) support. It has also transitioned to a USB-C Type-C 2.0 port, replacing the Lightning port from the previous iPhone version. The phone also includes NFC, IP68 rating, 2nd GenUltra Wideband chip, Bluetooth 5.3, Dolby Atmos, Voice over LTE (VoLTE), dual stereo speakers, Spatial Audio, and Face ID security features. Lastly, it is now running on iOS 17 operating system out of the box.
