The iPhone 15 Pro is a high-end smartphone that runs on an Apple A17 Pro Bionic TSMC’s 3nm technology hexa-core chipset and a Pro-class 6-core graphics processing unit. Adding to its performance, the phone comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB NVMe storage options.
It has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel, now with ProMotion offering an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Dolby Vision, a 2000 (high) brightness, FHD+ (1179 x 2556) resolution, ~460 ppi pixel density, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The Dynamic Island notch is located on the center top of the screen.
Camera-wise, this device boasts a 12-megapixel (ƒ/1.9 aperture) TrueDepth lens with Retina Flash. At the back is a triple camera setup with an all-new 48-megapixel primary shooter (ƒ/1.78 aperture) featuring sensor-shift OIS, a 12MP 2x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view. On the videography side, the main can shoot videos of up to 4K at 60fps ProRes recording.
When it comes to battery charging and features, the iPhone 15 Pro has 20W fast charging that charges the phone to 50% in 30 minutes and wireless charging (MagSafe and Qi) support. It has a USB-C Type-C 3.0 port, with 10Gbps transfer speeds. Other features of the Pro version include the multi-functional Action Button, NFC, IP68 rating (splash, water, and dust resistant), Ultra Wideband chip, Bluetooth 5.3, Dolby Atmos, Voice over LTE (VoLTE), dual stereo speakers, Spatial Audio, and a TrueDepth camera for facial recognition security features. Additionally, it runs on iOS 17 mobile software out of the box.
