The Tecno POVA Neo 5G is the latest 5G-ready smartphone from the company and the upgraded version of its predecessor Pova Neo. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor with a maximum clock rate of 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. For the memory, it has a single 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMCP storage. The phone’s ROM is also expandable up to 512B using a microSD slot.
It has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with an ultra-high 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, a FHD+ (1080 x 2460) resolution, ~395 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a punch-hole display located at the center top of the screen and a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio as advertised.
For photography, it has an 8-megapixels selfie lens, a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels main shooter, and a QVGA AI lens. The front and back camera is capable of recording up to 2K video resolution.
The phone packs a huge 6000mAh non-removable battery with support for 18W fast charging support. Other feature includes a VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Face unlock, FM radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In addition, The phone operates on an Android-12-based HIOS 8.6 out of the box.
