Tecno Mobile just announced the Tecno POVA Neo 2 as the new addition to their POVA series and you can buy this phone under 7K. It runs on a G-series MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with a dual Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.4GHz and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. For the memory configuration, it has 4GB to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 64GB to 128GB eMMC 5.1 ROM. The phone’s built-in storage is also expandable up to 256B using a dedicated microSD slot.
It has a 6.82-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, an HD+ (720 x 1640) resolution, ~263 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For the design of the Pova Neo 2, it has a punch-hole display located at the center top of the screen and an oleophobic coating.
For camera setup, it has an 8-megapixels selfie lens, a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixels main shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. In terms of video recording, front and back camera is capable of recording up to 1080p video resolution.
The phone packs a mega 7000mAh non-removable battery (same as Pova 3) and supports 18W fast charging. Other feature includes VoLTE, DTS audio, NFC, Memory Fusion, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Face unlock, FM radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone operates on the latest Android-12-based HIOS 8.6 out of the box.
