The Tecno Camon 18 Premier is a feature-packed mid-range smartphone that runs on a Mediatek Helio G96 12nm octa-core processor with 2.05GHz clock speed and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 ROM. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a (1080 x 2400) FHD+ resolution, 550 nits brightness, ~393 ppi pixel density, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The front screen has a punch-hole (Dot-in) design and is also certified by TüV Rheinland for the low blue light display.
In terms of optics, it sports a 32-megapixels wide selfie lens on the front. It has a triple rear camera setup with 64-megapixels (f/1.6) main shooter, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP periscope telephoto lens. For videography, the device can record up to 4K video resolution with stabilized gimbal features at the back and 1080p@30fps on the front.
The phone packs a 4750mAh non-removable battery with 33W fast charging that charges the phone to 64% within 30 minutes. Moreover, the Camon 18 Premier had some additional features such as an Ultra-steady Gimbal Camera, 60X Hybrid Zoom, Super Moon, NFC, Face unlock, FM Radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone ships with the Android 11-based HIOS 8.0 software out of the box.
