The new Honor X7 is the latest budget mid-range smartphone that carries the tagline “eXtra Energy, eXtra Performance” and is now available for under 10k here in the Philippines. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G octa-core processor with a maximum clock rate of 2.4GHz and an Adreno 610 mobile graphics processing unit. For internal memory and storage, it has 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 128GB eMMC 5.1 ROM. The phone’s built-in storage is also expandable up to 512B via a shared microSD slot.
It has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz smooth refresh rate, an HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution, ~260 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The design is a water-drop notch or FullView Display with rounded corners and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
Talking about the camera, it has an 8-megapixels selfie lens, a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixels main shooter, a 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. Both front and rear cameras can record a full HD plus video on a 1080p@30fps resolution.
The phone packs a 5000mAh non-removable battery with the support for 22.5W Honor Supercharge fast charging. Other specification includes a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Face unlocking, App lock, gesture navigation, Google apps, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, it is running with Magic UI 4.2 on top of the Android 11 operating system out of the box.
