Xiaomi’s Redmi K50i 5G smartphone is now official, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset with a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dolby Vision and True Display. The device variation has 8GB/6GB LPDDR5 RAM paired with 128GB to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The storage is not expandable so better chose the higher variant if needed.
It has a Liquid FFS (Fringe Field Switching) LCD panel with a 144Hz high refresh rate, screen resolution of (1080 x 2460), 500 nits, ~407 ppi pixel density, HDR10 support, and 20.5:9 ratio. The front design is a punch hole located at the center top of the screen. Also features DCI-P3, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and 7 stage DynamicSwitch.
The device sports a 16-megapixels selfie camera, 64-megapixels triple rear camera (Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor) main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. The camera can record a video up to 4K resolution and is capable of slow-motion recording.
For power, it has a 5080mAh non-removable battery with 67W fast Turbocharging. Other features of this device include VC Liquid Cooling 2.0, NFC, IR, HDR10, Stereo speakers, and an X-axis linear motor. It is capable of 5G SA/NSA network and has Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 for scratch protection.
