The Samsung Galaxy A24 is a newly unveiled mid-range smartphone and the latest addition to Samsung A-series in the Philippines. The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. For the memory, it has 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 128GB storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card.
In terms of display, it has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ (2340 x 1800) resolution, ~396 ppi pixel density, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 1,000 nits peak brightness. The front design is a water-drop notch style that houses the 13MP selfie camera.
It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels main shooter (Samsung S5KHM6SX03 camera sensor), a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. Both front and back cameras can record up to 1080p@30fps video resolution.
Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A24 also features a loudspeaker, Eye Care Certification by SGS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For software, the phone is running on the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box.
