The Samsung Galaxy A05 is a budget-friendly smartphone from Samsung Philippines and the upgraded version of the previous Galaxy A04. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core chipset and a Mali-G52 MC2 mobile GPU. The phone comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 64GB and 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
It boasts a wide 6.7-inch HD+ (720 x 1600) PLS LCD panel, ~269 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front display comes with a water-drop notch-style design with plastic back cover.
The phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, it has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels main shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. Both cameras are capable of recording up to 1080p@30fps video resolution.
It packs a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with 25W fast charging rate. The Samsung Galaxy A05 also features Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of the operating system, the phone is running on Android-13-based One UI out of the box.
