The ZTE nubia’s RedMagic 8 Pro is a gaming-focused smartphone tailored for gaming enthusiasts. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and an Adreno 740 mobile graphics processing unit. It flaunts a range of configurations, from 8GB, 12GB, to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM complemented by 128GB, 256GB, to 512GB UFS 4.0 flash storage.
In terms of display specifications, it features a 6.8-inches AMOLED panel with an impressive 1300 nits peak brightness. Additionally, it boasts 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors. Moreover, users will appreciate the smoothness offered by its 120Hz high refresh rate, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Furthermore, the 960Hz touch sampling rate ensures precise and responsive touch interactions. The device sports a (1116×2480) FHD+ screen resolution, delivering sharp and detailed visuals at approximately 400 pixels per inch (ppi). Notably, it adopts a 20:9 aspect ratio, offering an immersive display and one of its standout features is its notch-less design, made possible by the inclusion of an under-display 16-megapixels camera.
A triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels (Samsung GN5 camera sensor) main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. The back camera can also record up to 8K video resolution with slow-motion support.
It packs a 6000mAh non-removable dual-cell battery with 65-watt fast charging support. Other feature of this Redmagic 8 Pro includes 520Hz shoulder triggers, ICE 11.0 Multi-Dimensional Cooling System, NFC, dual stereo speakers, dual X-axis linear vibration motor, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 13-based RedMagic OS version 6.0 out of the box.
