The Realme Narzo 50A is a budget smartphone with a gaming-centric processor that cost under 7k in the Philippines. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB to 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The phone also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card slot
In terms of display, the phone has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ (720 x 1600) screen resolution, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 60Hz standard refresh rate, ~270 ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 ratio. It has a water-drop notch design and a diagonal stripe at the back panel.
For optics, it has an 8-megapixel wide selfie lens, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel (Samsung S5KJN1 sensor) main shooter, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. Both front and back are capable of recording up to 1080p@30fps video resolution.
The phone packs huge 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery power with 18W fast charging support. Other key features of the Realme Narzo 50A include Dirac 2.0, L3 WideVine level, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Face unlock, Game Space, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. For the software, the phone runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box.
