The Infinix Hot 40 is a budget-friendly smartphone that shares some of the specs from its Pro version. It is running on a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core chipset and a Mali-G52 MC2 mobile GPU. In terms of RAM and ROM options, it has a single 8GB LPDDR4X memory and 128GB to 256GB eMMC storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
Large Full-HD display with 90Hz refresh rate
For display, the phone inherits most of the features from its predecessor, the Hot 30. It boasts a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ (1080 x 2460) resolution, ~396 ppi pixel density, up to 270Hz touch sample rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a punch-hole style display with a Magic Ring notification indicator around its front camera.
50MP main camera plus 32MP selfie
For optics, it has a 32-megapixels selfie lens, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels main shooter, a 2MP macro, and an AI auxiliary lens. For video recording, it can shoot up to 2K@30fps video resolution at the back and 1080p@30fps on the front.
5000mAh battery capacity
It packs a lasting power of 5000mAh battery, that supports up to 33W fast charging via USB Type-C port. The Infinix Hot 40 also features an X-Boost gaming engine, Extended RAM (up to 8GB), Widevine L1+, DTS audio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 13-based XOS 13.5 out of the box.
